**Job Description: Quantity Surveyor**

**Job Overview**:
A Quantity Surveyor with a BE in Civil Engineering plays a crucial role in the planning, estimation, and financial management of construction projects. This position ensures cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards and adhering to the project schedule.

**Educational Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BE Civil)

**Experience Required**:

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience, preferably in real estate projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Estimation and Budgeting**
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Develop project budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Analyze project requirements and provide accurate cost advice.
- **Tendering and Procurement**
- Prepare and issue tender documents, bills of quantities, and contracts.
- Evaluate and negotiate bids from contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor procurement processes to ensure materials and services meet project specifications.
- **Cost Control and Monitoring**
- Track project expenses to ensure they align with the budget.
- Perform cost analysis and risk assessment for project changes.
- Monitor project progress to manage any deviations in cost or scope.
- **Contract Management**
- Draft and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve disputes and negotiate contract terms with stakeholders.
- **Reporting and Documentation**
- Maintain comprehensive records of project progress, costs, and variations.
- Prepare financial reports, including valuations, cost reports, and final accounts.
- **Collaboration and Communication**
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on cost implications to project teams and management.
