**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accounts Payable & Receivable Management**:

- Process and verify incoming invoices and expense reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices to vendors.
- Follow up on outstanding payments from customers and resolve payment issues.
- **General Ledger Maintenance**:

- Maintain and update the company’s general ledger with accurate financial data.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- **Reconciliation**:

- Reconcile bank and credit card statements with internal records to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure proper documentation for all transactions and assist with audit preparations.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare supporting schedules and assist with financial analysis.
- **Tax Compliance**:

- Support the finance team in preparing and filing tax-related documents, including VAT/GST and other local taxes.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns for submission.
- **Data Entry and Documentation**:

- Input financial data into accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Maintain accurate and organized records for easy retrieval during audits or reviews.
- **Internal Controls**:

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar finance role.
- **Accounting Software**: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally )
