1. Reporting to Delivery Manager/Team Lead and creating Engineering Concept design, master sections, macro feas ibility during styling stage. 2. CAD modeling and 3D annotations of trims components and assemblies, Generate and update BOM for T rim parts; Ensure timely delivery of data at every milestones as per Project time plan and the schedule assigned by Project lead. 3. Design Detailing, Drawing generation, Preparing DFMEA and TPL creation and Release in PLM 4. Generate DFMEA of exterior trims components and assemblies on component level meeting all requirements of functionality, performance and quality as per TML standards. 5. Understand and implement feedback from all internal agencies within TML and external agencies (component suppliers, engine ering service provider) for design, engineering, development and Launch of vehicle. 6. POST launch engineering support to resolve a ll manufacturing, Weight, Quality and Cost reduction activities. 7. Participate in the TML initiatives like VAVE, weight reductio n and quality improvements and deliver as per given target of cost, quality and weight. Domain Skills/Technical Competency : 1. T he job requires domain knowledge of Trims Design for Automotive exterior components and assemblies 2. Plastic components Design and engineering both trims and Aesthetic beadings and seals and finishers 3. Knowledge of tooling of plastics and manufacturing proces ses and moulding processes. 4. CATIA expertise, in solid, surface modeling, assembly modeling, 3D annotations. 5. Good working Kno wledge of regulations and engineering processes like DFMEA, DVP, DFM, DFA and DFS, DVP, etc. 6. PLM knowledge and knowledge of Vehicle BOM and Engineering BOM Education - Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
