**Interior cabin Trims**

**Area of Responsibility**:
This position is responsible for establishing, planning and running the engineering sub system meetings to ensure appropriate cross functional representation and input from all relevant areas. You will have responsibility for:

- Provide lead ership and guidance within your defined module where new engineering systems and components are developed.
- Managing the team, planning projects and reporting on progress to management.
- Attend key meetings, co-ordinate cross-functional reviews.
- Ensure your Module progression of design initial concept through to Engineering Sign-Off and design gateways
- Set and deliver Cost& weight targe ts for module.
- Ensure Regulatory compliance of all Cabin Trims (Pillar Trims, Headliner, Load space trim & Floor Carpet, Insulations).
- Define and deliver appropriate system-level engineering targets to meet function, quality and attribute requirements of the Vehicle Program.
- Ensure that all products meet the specification requirements and project targets through a documented DVP.
- Keep track and ensure resolution of all Validation issues.
- Develop System Design Specifications incorporating engineering standards, test procedures and material specifications.
- Lead Failure Mode Avoidance activities including DFMEA, quality history reviews developme nt tests.
- Ensuring all relevant documentation as per ISO& quality standards.
- Lead the resolution of design, attribute or packaging incompatibilities through the appropriate cross-functional meetings
- Support Purchasing team in Sourcing and RFQ activities.
- Support vehicle launch and pre-production builds (both virtual and physical)

**Essential**:

- Proven program management capability demonstrated by recent delivery in line with time, Cost, quality & attribute targets
- Demonstrate you have delivered at least 2 programs from concept to SOP.
- Ability to lead cross functional teams.
- Ability to develop timing plan for complex programs, understating of financial implications.
- Proven experience and deep knowledge in development and/or integration of Cabin Trims (Pillar Trims, Headliner, Load space trim & Carpet, etc.)
- Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufactu ring requirement.
- Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels.
- Liaise with supplier, Manuf acturing, CAE& Validation Teams.
- PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc.,-CAD Literacy: Ability to generat e CAD data and Master sections in CATIA V5/NX.
- Good understanding of BOM management, tracking changes to parts, tools
- Significant experience in use of engineering tools FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc.

**Qualification**:

- BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Prod uction/ Automotive Engineering
