We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Steward** to join our hospitality team:

- **Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, and dishes following health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and storage areas.
- Ensure the cleanliness of dining utensils, glassware, and crockery, both before and after service.
- Ensure proper storage of cleaning supplies and chemicals, in line with safety protocols.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff by maintaining an organized and well-stocked kitchen.
- Help with the organization and storage of food and supplies in the kitchen and storerooms.
- Maintain proper stock levels of kitchen cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment needs.
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of all kitchenware.
- Inspect kitchen tools and equipment regularly, identifying any damages or need for repair.
- Ensure dishes are free of food residue and returned to kitchen staff in an efficient manner.
- Manage kitchen waste by properly sorting and disposing of waste materials.
- Ensure that all trash bins are emptied regularly and that waste is removed from kitchen and dining areas.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations as outlined by the local health department and organization policies.
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist in inventory management by helping to stock food and beverage items.
- Support with deliveries, unloading supplies, and storing them in proper areas.
- Perform any other duties related to the kitchen’s operation as required by the chef or kitchen supervisor.

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a steward or in a similar role within the hospitality or foodservice industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety practices in a commercial kitchen.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to [specify weight] lbs).
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Willingness to take on tasks with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work in hot and humid kitchen environments.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
