- Person will be responsible for providing business units, general accounting, and internal control support, including preparation, and posting of journal entries, maintenance of balance sheet accounts, and completion of the month end closing transactions/procedures and ensuring that the general ledger account balances and trial balances are appropriately reconciled._
- Responsibilities_

**_ _**
- _Preparation and posting of journal entries (including all control checks)._
- _Day to day Bank and GL clearing._
- _Managing bank statements and related GL reconciliations_
- _Performing postings/analysis/reconciliations on intercompany transactions and related supporting documentation_
- _Cost allocation_
- _Performing regular analyses of the account variances_
- _Performing additional tasks on request._
- _Complying with Month End closing requirements and deadlines_
- _Ensuring there are no outstanding transactions that are not completed before closing_
- _Ensuring monthly checklists are completed without exception_
- _Preparation of periodic and ad hoc reports as requested by management_
- _Following adequate rules, policies, procedures, and instructions_

- Qualifications we seek in you_
- Minimum Qualifications / Skills_

**_ _**
- _Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance - required_
- _Relevant years of professional experience in General Ledger including Intercompany, Reconciliation, JE posting and accruals and Cash & Bank reconciliations - required_
- _General knowledge of accounting principles - required_
- _Demonstrates a working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)_
- _Intermediate to Advanced level of Excel is desired. SAP knowledge is required_

- _Demonstrates the ability to ask questions and gather information to create requested reports._

- _Demonstrates the ability to function as a facilitator; independently resolving problems, working with and through others to recommend, test and implement process improvements._
- _Demonstrates the ability to manage own time, activities and resources to ensure department standards are met on a consistent basis._
- _Demonstrates the ability to identify and understand customer needs, take appropriate actions to ensure customer needs are met. Proactively identifies ways to increase customer satisfaction._
