The Prep 2 Teacher plays a vital role in preparing students for the transition to Grade 1 by building foundational literacy, numeracy, inquiry, and social skills through structured learning and play-based experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's early years curriculum and learning standards.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student curiosity, creativity, and independence.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to meet the developmental needs of individual learners.
- Support students in achieving school readiness, particularly in literacy, numeracy, and personal responsibility.
- Assess, document, and report student progress regularly using formative and summative assessment strategies.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to build strong home-school partnerships and provide updates on student development.
- Collaborate with other teachers, teaching assistants, and specialists to ensure a cohesive and coordinated educational approach.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, training workshops, and professional development programs.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety in accordance with school policies.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field (required).
- Valid teaching certification/licensure as per local education authority standards.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in early years or lower primary (Prep/KG) settings.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
- Familiarity with [Insert curriculum framework - e.g., EYFS, IB PYP, Reggio Emilia, Montessori, or National Curriculum] is an advantage.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
