**Key Responsibilities**
- **Legal Counsel**:

- Provide accurate, timely, and practical legal advice on a wide range of business and operational matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
- **Compliance and Risk Management**:

- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws, including employment, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the company’s interests.
- Conduct regular legal audits and recommend changes as needed.
- **Dispute Resolution and Litigation**:

- Handle pre-litigation disputes and advise on strategies to resolve legal conflicts.
- Manage external legal counsel for litigation and complex legal matters when required.
- **Corporate Governance**:

- Advise on corporate governance policies and ensure adherence to internal guidelines.
- Assist with the preparation of corporate resolutions, board meetings, and related documentation.
- **Training and Support**:

- Educate employees and stakeholders on legal risks, corporate policies, and compliance requirements.
- Provide training on emerging legal trends and best practices.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or JD) from an accredited institution; membership in good standing with a Canadian law society.
- **Experience**: Minimum 5 years of experience in a legal advisory role, preferably within a corporate or in-house counsel setting.
- **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of Canadian legal frameworks, including corporate, employment, and contract law.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
