Merchandiser

**Job Summary**:As a Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visual presentation and overall shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to strategically plan, manage, and execute merchandise displays, product placements, and promotional activities to maximize sales and drive customer engagement. Your keen eye for design, understanding of consumer behavior, and strong collaboration skills will contribute to the success of our retail establishment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Visual Merchandising**:Design and implement eye-catching displays that showcase products effectively and in alignment with our brand identity.
Arrange products in an attractive manner to draw customer attention and encourage purchases.
Ensure visual consistency and maintain visual standards across all store areas.

**Planogram Management**:Develop and execute planograms that optimize product placement, shelving arrangements, and store layout.
Regularly update planograms based on product availability, sales trends, and promotional campaigns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate implementation of planograms.

**Inventory Management**:Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory team to ensure stock availability for featured displays and promotions.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to replenish merchandise as needed and maintain optimum stock levels.

**Promotional Activities**:Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns.
Set up displays for seasonal promotions, holidays, and special events to drive sales and customer engagement.

**Market Research**:Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences.
Use market insights to recommend changes to product assortment and display strategies.

**Customer Engagement**:Interact with customers to gather feedback on product displays and shopping experiences.
Use customer insights to make improvements in visual merchandising and product presentation.

**Training and Collaboration**:Train and guide store staff on merchandising standards and techniques.
Collaborate with the store management team to align merchandising strategies with overall store goals.

**Visual Communication**:Create and update signage, labels, and pricing materials to ensure clear communication to customers.
Ensure accurate product information is displayed with appropriate signage.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus).
- Proven experience in visual merchandising or a related role within the retail industry.
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and consumer behavior.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using design software and tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box.
- Knowledge of retail trends and market dynamics.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
