R

esponsibilities Y
- ou will be working on a range of infrastructure schemes and will be responsible for the work prepared by a team of Technicians and assists with their development to improve knowledge and strengths. Y
- ou will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and to be active on several projects at any given time. Y
- ou will ensure that all drawings are produced in accordance with the relevant technical standards, in adherence to WSP's and the Client's CAD Standards documentation. Y
- ou will actively develop the CAD and BIM skills and capabilities of a team and ensure deployment is appropriate to highways business and projects. Y
- ou will assist in the development of strategic BIM documentation, including BIM Execution Plans, BIM Standards and protocols. Y
- ou will contribute to our Lean approach to driving efficiency and removing waste from our processes. Y
- ou will work under the guidance of the project manager or designated discipline lead. Y
- ou will be involved with resource management, utilisation forecast, production of fee proposal and recruitments as required. Y
- ou will read, adher and ensure compliance to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety including the H&S Policy, H&S Manual, and Local Procedures Manual. Take responsibility for own personal development with the support of line manager and follow an agreed development plan.

- bility to utilise AutoCAD or MicroStation in adherence to defined CAD standards to lead and develop engineering drawings. A
- bility to liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate design and drawing production. C
- apable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scopes of work required. A
- ssists with establishing, maintaining and enforcing the use of proper CAD standards and procedures. U
- ndertake reviews of work produced by others to ensure high quality of CAD output. A
- bility to customise and automation of programs and menus to increase drawing productivity U
- K Highways project experience and knowledge of UK design standards Y
- ou should be able to demonstrate some experience and working knowledge of relevant technical design guidance and standards, such as DMRB, MfS, TSRGD, HCD, and IAN 184. A
- bility to understand and communicate BIM and CAD standards for use on Civil engineering projects and possessing an appropriate overall level of knowledge of the UK infrastructure design sector. P
- roficient in use of standard office software P
- roficiency in the use of Bentley ProjectWise and Navisworks. You should be able to set up BIM models to the project standards and liaising with Model Managers. E
- xperience of using and optimising CAD resource libraries (cells / blocks, objects, seed files, etc). E
- xperience of supervising and coordinating the CAD output of others (either directly or indirectly) within a multi-disciplinary project environment. A

- ou will have either Diploma or Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 12 years’+ relevant post-graduate experience A
