A "Costing & Coordination Executive" is responsible for managing and analyzing the costs associated with a company's operations, ensuring accurate cost calculations, coordinating with various departments to gather necessary data, and providing insights to optimize profitability by identifying cost-saving opportunities across projects or production lines; essentially acting as a bridge between the finance team and operational departments to maintain cost control and project efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - **Cost Analysis and Reporting**: - Collect and analyze cost data from different departments to calculate accurate product costs, including materials, labor, and overhead. - Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and reports for management to monitor profitability and identify cost variances. - Analyze trends in cost fluctuations and identify areas for cost reduction. - **Project Costing**: - Develop and maintain project budgets, tracking costs against planned expenditures to ensure project profitability. - Estimate costs for new projects by analyzing material requirements, labor hours, and other relevant factors. - Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle and identify potential cost overruns. - **Coordination and Collaboration**: - Collaborate with various departments like production, procurement, and sales to gather accurate cost data and ensure smooth project execution. - Communicate cost information to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making. - Coordinate with the procurement team to negotiate favorable pricing with vendors. - **Standard Costing**: - Establish and maintain standard cost structures for products and services. - Analyze variances between actual costs and standard costs to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions. - **Inventory Management**: - Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate cost accounting for raw materials and finished goods. - Identify and address inventory discrepancies. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and methodologies - Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams - Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities - Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis tools - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Relevant experience in cost accounting or project management, preferably within the industry Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year Schedule: - Day shift Supplemental Pay: - Performance bonus - Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
