**Role purpose**:
To ensure the setup and maintenance of an effective risk management framework that complies with the Group Standards and other relevant regulations.

**Core competencies**:
Proficiency in risk management processes and principles, and prior experience as a risk manager or in a similar role.

Experience of working in a global and matrixed environment, managing multiple and conflicting priorities and managing varied and senior stakeholders.

Background in some of the risk and compliance areas impacting Vodafone.

Experience of developing, implementing, driving and managing risk control frameworks to measure and mitigate risk.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
