
Safety Officer

**Job Summary**:
The Safety Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the company's employee safety at work. Their main duty is to ensure that the company complies with and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines to reduce work-related injuries, accidents.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety laws, standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments; recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees and contractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and ensure preventive measures are implemented.
- Maintain proper records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure that emergency procedures are up to date.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies for permits, inspections, and reporting.
- Participate in toolbox talks and safety committee meetings.
- Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety protocols on-site.
- Support management in developing and updating health and safety policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer.
- Strong knowledge of local and international health and safety laws and best practices.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
