1. Assess patients that enter the emergency room immediately and oversee emergency patient’s recovery.
2. Formation of Triage in case of mass casualties and arrange resources.
3. Meet the patient and family on arrival to the unit and take history, perform examination of the patient. Male doctors shall ensure presence of a female colleague or a nurse if examining a female patient.
4. Request the appropriate medical tests and based on them, follow a treatment plan.
5. Develop effective patient care plans.
6. Refer patients to the appropriate specialists.
7. Ensure that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation.
8. Provide instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.
9. Maintain the patient’s medical records.
10. Coordinate with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment.
11. Inform the patient’s condition to the Consultant SOS.
12. Send appropriate referrals and communicate with consultants.
13. Ensure completion of patient’s records at the time of discharge.
14. Respond promptly to ‘CODE BLUE’ announcements.
15. Comply with all Hospital policies & procedures.
16. Participate in clinical & non-clinical training programs organized by the Department & the hospital.
17. Display professional behavior with patients, colleagues and other hospital staff.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Rotational shift
