**JD - Content Editor**

**The Role**:
As an Editor at The Growth Square, your primary responsibility will be to review and refine content written by our team of Content Writers. You will ensure that every piece aligns with the client’s tone, guidelines, and the intended topic before it is shared for approval or publishing. This role is focused entirely on editing and requires a sharp eye for detail, consistency, and brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reviewing content drafts submitted by Content Writers to ensure alignment with the assigned topic and client brief.
- Ensuring tone, style, and messaging are consistent with the client’s brand voice.
- Making grammatical, structural, and clarity-related edits to enhance readability and impact.
- Flagging any content pieces that are off-topic or require significant changes and sharing clear edit suggestions.
- Ensuring all content is free of errors, well-structured, and meets internal quality standards.
- Coordinating with writers only for clarification or to request revisions where necessary.
- Finalising content before it moves forward for client approval or publishing.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a content editor or similar role with a strong eye for grammar and brand tone.
- Excellent command of English and strong editing skills.
- Ability to ensure clarity, flow, and relevance of content based on brief.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Docs, Grammarly, and content calendars.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.

A good understanding of brand voice, tone, and how to maintain it across different content pieces.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Editing: 1 year (required)

Work Location: In person
