We are seeking a talented Data Governance Engineer to join our team and contribute to our data governance initiatives.

Essential Skills and Experience:
Collibra Data Governance Platform: Proven experience with the Collibra Data Governance platform.
Integrated Development Environments (IDEs): Deep understanding and practical knowledge of IDEs such as Eclipse, PyCharm, or any Workflow Designer.
Programming Languages: Experience with one or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Python.
CI/CD Processes: Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and tools, such as GitHub.
DevOps: Experience working in DevOps teams using Kubernetes tools.
Business Workflow Automation: Prior experience in converting business workflows into automated actions.
Scripting: Strong knowledge in scripting with a willingness to learn new languages.
Database Concepts: Hands-on experience with database concepts, along with a fair understanding of data classification, lineage, and storage.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to delivery.
Documentation Enthusiasm: Passion for creating high-quality documentation, including high-level designs, low-level designs, coding standards, and knowledge base articles.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Education: Engineering degree in IT or Computer Science with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
Data Platforms: Exposure to platforms like Talend, Data Catalog, BigID, or Snowflake is advantageous.
AWS Knowledge: Basic understanding of AWS services is a plus.
Integration Technologies: Knowledge and experience with integration technologies like MuleSoft and SnapLogic.
Jira Proficiency: Excellent Jira skills, including the ability to rapidly generate JQL, save queries, filters, and views for publishing to fellow engineers and senior stakeholders.
Documentation in Confluence: Experience creating documentation in Confluence.
Agile Practices: Experience working in Agile teams for several years.
