We operate primarily in the UK and India, with additional sales representation in the Netherlands and Poland. Our European sales head office (team of 30) and niche product manufacturing facility (team of 25) are based in the UK, while our large-volume commercial manufacturing (team of 125), including sales and support operations for global customers, is located in Thane, India.

**About the Role**

At Polymax, we are committed to harnessing the power of data to drive innovation and enhance our business processes. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Data Technician to join our Thane office and play a pivotal role in our data-driven transformation journey.

As a Data Technician, you will be responsible for:

- **Data Sourcing and Migration**: Identifying and extracting data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the migration process.
- **Data Collection, Formatting, and Storage**: Collecting, organizing, and storing data in a structured and accessible format, adhering to established data quality standards.
- **Data Manipulation and Linking**:Manipulating and linking data sets as required, ensuring data consistency and integrity across the organization's data landscape.
- **Data Cleaning and Validation**: Identifying and removing duplicates, typos, outdated entries, and inconsistencies, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- **Data Auditing**: Performing regular audits of data quality and integrity, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective measures to maintain data integrity.
- **Data Summarization and Communication**:Effectively summarizing and communicating gathered data to stakeholders across the organization, utilizing tools such as Metabase, Google Data Studio, or similar data visualization platforms.
- **Data Presentation**:Creating Datasheets for Presenting Data Using various Design tools, Involves organizing information in clear and Structural manner.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- A Science, IT, or Engineering degree prefereablyMechanical from a reputed universtity with a strong foundation in Exce**l**.
- Ability to comprehend and assimilate technical product details, demonstrating a keen understanding of the data landscape and its implications for business operations.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and systems, possessing a working knowledge of data storage, retrieval, and processing methodologies.
- Proficient in at least one major coding language, such as SQL, JavaScript, or VB, with the ability to write and execute scripts for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with data analytics concepts and tools, including Metabase, Google Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms.

**Package and Benefits**
- Competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience) starting at Rs. 30,000/- per month.
- Full-time working hours, Monday to Friday.
- 20 days of paid holidays plus local public holidays as mandated by the Factories Act.
