**JOB DESCRIPTION: SR MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER (BLOOD BANK)**

1. Checks for donor details which includes demographic data, history and medical examination.

2. Records donor details in the register.

3. Interacts with voluntary donors and maintains registers of the same.

4. Interaction with the relatives of patients and convinces them to donate blood.

5. Solves all donor related problems.

6. Provides guidance to relatives to find group specific donors for patient's surgery.

7. Arranges for blood from other blood banks or voluntary donors when needed.

8. Issues voluntary donor cards.

9. Maintains Doctor debit/credit cards and does a follow-up of the same.

10. Sends credit-debit blood reports to the respective clinical units.

11. Handles all outside requests for blood.

12. Prepares all publicity and awareness material.

13. Conducts surveys through the use of questionnaires.

14. Corresponds with donors regarding greeting cards, overdue donations and thank you letters.

15. Organizes awareness camps for blood donation.

16. Organizes and attends blood donation camps when necessary.

17. Informs and counsels Sero-positive donors and does a follow-up of the same.

18. Maintains all records and registers related to the donors for the purpose of the F.D.A inspection.

19. Undertakes any other functions as told by the incharge to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.

**Qualification - MSW in Blood Bank compulsory**

**Note
- Rajasthan Paramedical Counsil Registration is Must**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,321.01 - ₹18,605.73 per month
