**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **
Teaching and Curriculum Delivery**
- Teach Psychology at both IBDP and ISC levels, adhering to the specific curriculum requirements of each program.
- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that promote critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and cross-disciplinary connections.
- Ensure lessons are aligned with IBDP and ISC standards and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.

**2.Assessment and Evaluation**
- Design and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student performance and understanding.
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain detailed records of student progress in line with school policies.
- ** Student Engagement and Mentorship**
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
- Mentor students in developing research skills for Internal Assessments (IA) in IBDP and guide ISC students in project work as required.
- Support students in preparing for board examinations and university admissions, if needed.

**4.Professional Development and Collaboration**
- Participate in regular professional development workshops to stay updated on educational trends and methodologies.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to integrate interdisciplinary approaches to learning.

**5.Administrative Duties**
- Maintain accurate attendance and academic records.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
- Contribute to co-curricular activities and events organized by the school.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- A Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teacher certification (mandatory).
- Certification and training in IBDP curriculum delivery (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in IBDP and/or ISC curricula.
- Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to inspire and engage students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
