Cinematographer with Multicam Experience

We are seeking a skilled Cameraman with multi cam experience who can deliver and contribute to various video projects. For the current role, the cameraman must be able to shoot videos according to each and every project's requirement. Additional knowledge of video editing is also appreciable.

A KRA (Key Result Area) for a cameraman typically includes the following core responsibilities:
1. **Camera Operation and Technical Proficiency**
- **Operate multiple cameras simultaneously**, ensuring all angles and shots are captured smoothly and effectively.
- **Ensure proper setup, maintenance, and operation** of cameras, lenses, and accessories, optimizing for different lighting and shot requirements.
- **Monitor camera settings and ensure proper focus, exposure, and framing** across all cameras, adjusting in real time as needed.
- **Proficient in multi-cam switching** or managing camera feeds in live or pre-recorded environments.

2. **Shot Composition and Framing**
- **Capture dynamic and engaging shots**, taking into consideration the creative brief and ensuring consistency between cameras.
- **Work collaboratively with the production head/project coordinators** to understand the visual style and narrative structure, ensuring all shots align with the creative vision.
- **Ensure continuity** across different camera angles and shots, preserving the flow of action and story.

3. **Multi-Cam Coordination and Timing**
- **Synchronize multiple cameras** to ensure seamless transitions between angles and continuity in the final product.
- **Communicate effectively with the production head and project coordinators** to ensure all angles and camera movements are captured at the right time.
- **Manage switching between camera feeds** (whether live or in post-production) to capture the best moments at the right time.

4. **Lighting and Exposure Management**
- **Set up and adjust lighting** based on the scene’s needs, ensuring even lighting across all camera angles.
- **Ensure proper exposure, white balance, and color grading** for all cameras, avoiding inconsistencies that could affect the final product.
- **Adjust for environmental factors** such as varying lighting conditions, outdoor settings, or specific mood lighting.

5. **Equipment Knowledge and Setup**
- **Understand and operate various camera systems** (e.g., DSLRs, RED, ARRI, etc.) and related gear (e.g., rigs, jibs, gimbals).
- **Collaborate with the technical team** to ensure camera equipment is properly set up, tested, and configured before the shoot.
- **Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues** with the cameras or equipment during the shoot.

6. **Collaboration with Other Members**
- **Work closely with the production head and project coordinators** to understand the visual requirements of the scene and ensure shots align with the creative intent.
- **Coordinate with the sound and lighting teams**, ensuring that camera positions don’t obstruct sound recording or lighting setups.
- **Work seamlessly with assistant camera operators** or additional crew members to ensure cameras are positioned and operated efficiently.

7. **Adherence to Project Timeline and Deadlines**
- **Efficiently execute camera setups** in a timely manner to ensure shooting stays on schedule.
- **Meet shooting deadlines** while maintaining high-quality work and avoiding unnecessary delays during the shoot.
- **Be prepared to adapt quickly to any last-minute changes** or revisions in the shoot plan.

8. **Safety and Equipment Care**
- **Ensure the safety of all camera equipment**, including proper handling, storage, and transportation of gear.
- **Adhere to safety protocols** on set, especially when using complex equipment like cranes, drones, or high-tech rigs.
- **Perform regular maintenance checks** on cameras and related equipment to avoid malfunction during shoots.

9. **Creativity and Visual Storytelling**
- **Contribute to visual storytelling** by suggesting shots, angles, and compositions that enhance the narrative and emotional impact of the project.
- **Use creative camera techniques** (e.g., tracking shots, slow motion, or close-ups) to enhance the scene and create the desired effect.
- **Balance technical accuracy with artistic expression**, ensuring that all shots are both visually compelling and technically correct.

10. **Adaptability to Different Environments**
- **Work effectively in various filming environments**, including studio settings, outdoor shoots, and fast-paced live events.
- **Adapt to diverse lighting and environmental challenges**, adjusting camera settings and equipment to maintain high-quality visuals.
