Video Editor with Multicam Editing Experience

We are seeking skilled Video Editors with multicam editing experience to join our team for full time and contribute to various video as well as dubbing projects. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for providing clear and expressive video outputs in Tamil/Telugu/Kannada/Malayalam for a variety of content.

Key Result Areas (KRAs) for video editors help define the critical areas of responsibility, performance metrics, and expected outcomes for the role. Here are some KRAs that we expect from the video editors:
1. **Video Editing Quality and Precision**
- **Deliver high-quality final videos** that meet the creative and technical standards set by the project or client.
- **Ensure accurate synchronization of multi-cam footage**, maintaining smooth transitions and proper timing across multiple angles.
- **Monitor video continuity**, ensuring that the flow of action between different camera angles is seamless and logical.

2. **Efficient Use of Multi-Cam Editing Tools**
- **Proficiency in multi-cam editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer)**.
- **Utilize multi-cam workflows to streamline the editing process** and manage a large volume of footage from different camera angles.
- **Optimize multi-cam sequences**, ensuring smooth editing, synchronization, and the ability to quickly toggle between angles.

3. **Collaboration and Communication**
- **Work closely with production head, project co-ordinators and other team members** to understand the vision and style of the project.
- **Incorporate feedback promptly**, adjusting edits based on direction from the team.
- **Effectively manage time and expectations** while handling multiple projects and tight deadlines.

4. **Creative Input and Innovation**
- **Contribute creative ideas and insights** into the overall structure and flow of the video.
- **Provide innovative transitions, effects, and graphics** that elevate the overall production.
- **Maintain a strong sense of narrative structure** and pacing, especially in multi-cam situations where pacing can be impacted by cutting between various angles.

5. **Technical Proficiency**
- **Resolve audio and visual issues** related to multi-cam footage, such as sync issues, inconsistent sound, or lighting problems.
- **Ensure proper color correction, grading, and sound design** to maintain consistency across all camera angles.
- **Organize and manage raw footage, project files, and assets** in a systematic manner to ensure smooth post-production workflows.

6. **Timely Delivery**
- **Meet project deadlines** for both rough cuts and final edits.
- **Manage time efficiently** in high-pressure environments where quick turnarounds are required.

7. **Adaptability to Changing Requirements**
- **Stay updated with new techniques, trends, and software** related to multi-cam editing.
- **Adapt quickly to last-minute changes** in project scope or edits and maintain quality.

8. **Archiving and File Management**
- **Organize and store project files, assets, and media** in a way that allows for easy access and future revisions.
- **Maintain backup systems** to avoid data loss during the editing process.

9. **Post-Production Workflow Optimization**
- **Streamline the editing process** through the creation of templates or workflows that make multi-cam editing faster and more efficient.
- **Troubleshoot and solve technical problems** that may arise during editing, such as software glitches, hardware issues, or file incompatibility.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
