**SEO Intern**

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and eager-to-learn SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. As an SEO Intern, you will work closely with the SEO and content teams to assist in improving the visibility of our website across search engines. You will gain hands-on experience in keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, technical SEO, and content optimization strategies. This internship provides a fantastic opportunity to learn the intricacies of SEO while contributing to real-world projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Keyword Research**:

- Assist in conducting keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Analyze search trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.
- **On-Page SEO**:

- Help optimize web content by adding relevant keywords, meta descriptions, title tags, and headers.
- Assist with content formatting and ensuring SEO best practices are followed.
- **Off-Page SEO**:

- Support the team in link-building activities by researching and identifying high-quality backlink opportunities.
- Help track backlinks and monitor the progress of off-page SEO efforts.
- **Content Optimization**:

- Work with the content team to ensure blog posts, articles, and landing pages are optimized for search engines.
- Assist in creating SEO-friendly blog posts and web content.
- **Technical SEO**:

- Assist with website audits to identify technical SEO issues (such as site speed, mobile responsiveness, etc.).
- Support in implementing SEO fixes under guidance from senior team members.
- **Performance Tracking & Reporting**:

- Help monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Assist in preparing monthly SEO performance reports.
- **Stay Updated on SEO Trends**:

- Research current SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry news to stay up-to-date.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in digital marketing and search engine optimization.
- Familiarity with basic SEO concepts and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong desire to learn.

**Preferred Skills (Not Required, but a Plus)**:

- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with social media marketing and other digital marketing strategies.
