**Description**:
The **Community Builder** will be responsible for fostering engagement and collaboration among researchers, practitioners, and local communities involved in the project. This role involves strengthening networks, facilitating knowledge-sharing and building a network.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders, including researchers, policymakers, local communities, and NGOs.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, dialogues, and workshops to enhance collaboration between ATREE, INR, and external partners.
- Develop strategies to strengthen community engagement in research and conservation initiatives.
- Create and manage platforms (both digital and in-person) for ongoing interaction, such as discussion forums, newsletters, or learning exchanges.
- Document and amplify community voices and local knowledge, ensuring inclusivity in research and decision-making processes.
- Work closely with the communications team to share stories, case studies, and learnings from the Centre’s activities.
- Support the design and implementation of training programs that empower local communities and stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate engagement strategies, adapting them based on feedback and impact assessment.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree in social sciences, communications, environmental studies, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, or participatory research.
- Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in organizing events, workshops, or capacity-building initiatives.
- Familiarity with digital engagement tools and social media for community-building.
- Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary and cross-cultural environments.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in conservation, sustainability, or rural development projects.
- Knowledge of participatory research methodologies
- Proficiency in either Hindi/Telugu/Marathi
