**Roles and responsibilities:

- **
- Thoroughly identifying, recording, and tracking bugs, defects, and non-conformities.
- Performing thorough regression testing when the bugs/defects are resolved.
- Investigating the cause of non-conformities.
- Conduct rigorous manual and automation testing as per the test plan.
- Tracking the quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Designing and executing automation scripts using open-source tools like

Selenium
- Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Executing test cases as per software requirement specification
- Analyzing test results with impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
- Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the project team.
- Interacting with team members to understand product requirements.
- Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
