Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Server Management & Maintenance:

- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers (client-facing and internal).
- Perform routine server monitoring, maintenance, patching, and upgrades.
- Ensure optimal performance and high availability of servers.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently.

Firewall & Security Management:

- Configure and maintain enterprise-level firewalls and security appliances.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security threats.
- Implement and maintain security protocols including IDS/IPS, VPNs, SSL/TLS.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.

Hosting & cPanel Administration:

- Manage web hosting environments and DNS configurations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot issues within cPanel and WHM environments.
- Perform website migrations, SSL installations, and configuration backups.

Networking & Infrastructure Management:

- Oversee LAN/WAN performance, DNS, DHCP, and routing.
- Maintain VPN configurations for remote access.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for network expansion and maintenance.

Security & Compliance:

- Perform regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity regulations.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in server hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience managing enterprise firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco, pfSense).
- Proficiency with hosting environments including cPanel, WHM, and web servers (Apache/Nginx).
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Solid grasp of cybersecurity principles, tools, and best practices.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a system administration role.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, RHCE, CompTIA Security+, Cisco, Fortinet) preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
