Music Teacher

**Job Title**: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - Music

**Position Summary**:
The TGT Music Teacher is responsible for delivering music education to students, fostering an appreciation for music, and developing students' musical skills and knowledge. The teacher will design and implement engaging music lessons that meet the curriculum standards and encourage students to explore various aspects of music, including theory, vocal training, and instrument playing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Music Instruction**: Plan and conduct music classes, covering theory, vocal music, and basic instrumental skills according to the curriculum.
- **Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development**: Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with school guidelines and curriculum standards.
- **Student Engagement and Development**: Encourage student participation, foster musical creativity, and identify and support students’ individual musical strengths and interests.
- **Organize School Performances**: Prepare students for school events, concerts, assemblies, and competitions; lead and coordinate school choirs or bands.
- **Instrumental Knowledge**: Teach students to play various instruments, introducing basic instrumental techniques and encouraging practice.
- **Classroom Management**: Establish a positive and productive classroom environment; manage student behavior to ensure a safe and respectful learning space.
- **Evaluation and Assessment**: Assess students' progress through exams, assignments, and practical performances, providing constructive feedback.
- **Collaboration**: Work with other staff members to integrate music into school-wide events and activities, fostering a culture of appreciation for the arts.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field; Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) preferred.
- Certification as a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in Music.
- Experience teaching music to school-age children.
- Proficiency in playing multiple instruments and strong vocal ability.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
