**Job Title**: Quality Control Supervisor (Garments Industry)

**Location**: Patparganj Industrial Area, Delhi

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for an experienced and highly detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to oversee and manage the quality control operations within our garment production facility. The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards, both during and after production, to guarantee the highest quality for our customers. The role requires expertise in garment production processes, quality inspection, and team management to ensure that all garments are manufactured to specification and delivered without defects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Control Inspections**:

- Oversee the inspection of raw materials, in-process garments, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Perform visual and physical inspections on garments for defects, such as stitching issues, fabric quality, and fit.
- Ensure that garments are free from defects, stains, and irregularities before they are sent for packaging or delivery.
- **Team Supervision**:

- Lead, supervise, and train a team of quality control inspectors to ensure that quality checks are conducted properly and efficiently.
- Assign tasks to quality control inspectors based on production schedules and priorities.
- Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to quality control procedures.
- Provide continuous feedback and coaching to the team to improve performance and maintain high standards.
- **Implementation of Quality Standards**:

- Establish and maintain quality standards for different garment products in collaboration with the production team and management.
- Develop and implement quality control protocols and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in the inspection process.
- **Root Cause Analysis and Problem-Solving**:

- Investigate defects and quality issues that arise during production and collaborate with the production team to identify the root causes.
- Develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues and reduce defects in future production runs.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of quality control inspections, including details on defects, actions taken, and final product approvals.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality control reports to the management team.
- Ensure that all quality control activities and issues are well-documented for future reference and audits.
- **Product Testing**:

- Oversee testing of garments for color fastness, shrinkage, durability, and other product-specific tests.
- Ensure that garments meet safety and regulatory requirements, including proper labeling and fabric care instructions.
- Coordinate with external testing agencies if necessary for specialized tests.
- **Collaboration with Production and Design Teams**:

- Work closely with the production and design teams to provide feedback and suggestions for quality improvement during the design and manufacturing stages.
- Assist in resolving quality concerns before production starts to ensure a smoother manufacturing process.
- Communicate regularly with other departments to ensure seamless coordination on quality issues.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in garment quality control and implement relevant improvements.
- **Compliance**:

- Ensure that the production facility complies with all relevant safety and quality regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits of the quality control process to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience (1+ years) in quality control within the garment industry or related manufacturing sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of garment production processes, fabric types, and garment quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and garment patterns.
- Experience in conducting garment testing, inspections, and audits.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
