The role involves monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. Security Guards ensure a safe and secure environment through vigilant patrolling, access control, and emergency response. **Key Responsibilities**: - **Surveillance and Monitoring**: - Monitor surveillance cameras and conduct regular patrols of the property. - Observe and report any suspicious activities or security breaches. - **Access Control**: - Control access to buildings and grounds by monitoring identification and authorization of individuals. - Maintain security by ensuring all visitors are registered and follow proper procedures. - **Incident Response**: - Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. - Provide assistance during emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary. - **Safety and Security**: - Enforce rules, regulations, and policies to maintain order. - Conduct security checks of doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are locked and secure. - **Documentation and Reporting**: - Prepare accurate and detailed reports on daily activities and incidents. - Maintain logs of visitors, incidents, and security-related occurrences. - **Customer Service**: - Provide assistance and direction to visitors, employees, and the general public. - Handle inquiries and resolve minor issues or direct them to the appropriate authority. **Skills and Qualifications**: - **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. - **Experience**: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not always required. - **Skills**: - Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols. - Familiarity with reporting standards and emergency response planning. - Ability to operate surveillance systems and security equipment. - Strong observational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Physical fitness and the ability to handle stress and emergency situations calmly. **Certifications and Licenses**: - **Mandatory**: Valid Security Guard license or certification (requirements vary by region/country). - **Preferred**: First Aid/CPR certification, training in defensive tactics, and any other relevant security training certifications. **Working Conditions**: - Full-time or part-time positions; may require working in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. - Work may be indoors or outdoors, depending on the assignment. - Job may involve standing or walking for long periods, exposure to potentially hazardous situations, and handling emergency situations. **Physical Requirements**: - Ability to lift and carry heavy objects if needed. - Stamina and endurance for patrolling and standing for extended periods. **Career Path**: - Security Guard -> Senior Security Guard -> Security Supervisor -> Security Manager -> Head of Security/Chief Security Officer (CSO) **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Schedule: - Day shift - Evening shift - Morning shift - Night shift - Rotational shift **Education**: - Secondary(10th Pass) (preferred) **Experience**: - total work: 1 year (preferred) - Security: 1 year (preferred) **Language**: - English (preferred) - Hindi (preferred) Work Location: In person
