We are looking for a passionate and empathetic Counsellor Intern to join our student support team.

**Role Overview**:
As a Counsellor Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the emotional, academic, and personal well-being of students at The College IDeA World College. You will work closely with the college’s counseling and support staff to provide guidance, support, and resources to students, helping them navigate their academic journey and personal challenges.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in providing individual counseling sessions to students facing academic, personal, or emotional challenges.
- Conduct group counseling sessions and workshops on topics like stress management, study skills, time management, and mental health awareness.
- Help create and implement support programs that promote student well-being and mental health.
- Provide guidance on career exploration, personal development, and academic planning.
- Maintain confidential records of student interactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist in the development of resources such as informational materials on mental health, stress management, and academic success.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify students who may benefit from counseling services.
- Participate in college events and initiatives that promote a positive and supportive campus environment.

**Requirements**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine interest in student development and well-being.
- Ability to listen actively and demonstrate empathy and understanding.
- Basic knowledge of counseling techniques, mental health issues, and student challenges (preferred but not required).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- A proactive, compassionate, and patient attitude toward working with students.
- [Preferred] Enrollment or recent graduation in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience or internship in counseling, psychology, or student support services (preferred but not mandatory).
- An understanding of challenges faced by college students, including academic pressures, career concerns, and personal growth.
- Familiarity with the college environment and student life.
