Optometry Technician

**About the Role**

We are looking for a motivated **Vision Technician/Eye Tester Technician** to join our optical care team in Nagpur.
You will assist in performing basic eye testing, support optometrists, and ensure a smooth experience for patients and customers.
This role is ideal for freshers interested in building a career in eye care or optical retail.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct preliminary eye testing using vision charts and digital eye testing equipment
- Assist optometrists in performing refraction and vision assessments
- Record and maintain accurate patient eye test data
- Guide customers in selecting frames and lenses (if required)
- Maintain cleanliness and calibration of testing instruments
- Handle walk-in patients courteously and manage appointments

**Requirements**:

- Education: Minimum 12th Pass (Science preferred) or Diploma / Certificate in Optometry / Eye Technician course
- Freshers are welcome
- Good communication skills and patient-friendly attitude
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work in a clinical or retail optical setup

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Completed a short course in **Optometry / Ophthalmic Technician / Vision Testing**:

- Experience in optical shops, hospitals, or eye clinics

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 per week
