**Position**: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
**Department**: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
**Location**: Kukreja Hospital & Heart Centre, Rajori Garden
**Reporting To**: ICU Head / Chief Medical Officer

Key Responsibilities:

- **Patient Care**:

- Provide continuous, comprehensive, and high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor patients’ conditions and respond promptly to changes, providing necessary interventions.
- Manage and supervise the administration of medications and IV therapies.
- **Medical Procedures**:

- Perform routine and emergency medical procedures, such as intubation, central line insertion, and management of ventilators.
- Assist in complex medical procedures under the supervision of senior medical staff.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in daily rounds and contribute to case discussions and decision-making.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including clinical observations, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensure documentation complies with hospital policies and legal requirements.
- **Emergency Response**:

- Respond to emergency situations promptly, performing life-saving procedures when necessary.
- Ensure readiness to handle critical cases and manage acute complications.
- **Training & Development**:

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to stay updated on the latest ICU care protocols.
- Mentor and supervise junior medical staff and interns.
- **Compliance & Safety**:

- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
- Follow infection control practices and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: MBBS degree from a recognized institution. Postgraduate qualifications in critical care or related fields are preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU or critical care settings.
- **Skills**:

- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology related to ICU care.
