**About the Position**:
**Responsibilities**:
The Field Coordinator will be an integral part of our ongoing livelihood project partnerships with a few large companies under the CSR ambit. The incumbent will be working with farmers directly. More specific information about the role is outlined as below:

- Do mobilization of farmers to meet the project onboarding targets
- Take necessary steps for the formation and registration of FPO/FPC
- Make all the necessary arrangements for farming in a 17-acre farm plot throughout the year including input, process and output linkage
- Monitor the work of farm laborers and get the farm plot tilled through them by adopting regenerative agriculture practices.
- Facilitate the linkages of FPO / FPC with relevant stakeholders and government department
- Making necessary arrangements for training of farmers on regenerative, climate resilient, and sustainable agriculture practices.
- Do effective mobilization of farmers, ensure their participation in the training programs, and visit their farm fields to promote the adoption of training practices by them in alignment with project timelines.
- Take necessary steps to develop model farm plot and training centre for farmers along with necessary value chain linkages for the same
- Set up a model dairy farm and establish necessary value chain linkages for the same.
- Help the Project Coordinator in doing quality documentation of project activities, outcomes, and learnings through case studies, periodic progress reports, etc.
- Manage and support the farm laborers to deliver project activities on the ground
- Co-operate with the Project Co-ordinator during regular review and planning meetings
- Visit farmers on regular basis across all clusters to assess and monitor the adoption of practices by them
- Liasioning with various local stakeholders (PRI members, government officials, private vendors) for implementation of the project
- Ensure the spending as per the project budget
- Any other task as assigned by Project Co-ordinator

**Mandatory Qualification and Experience**:

- A minimum of 1 year of working experience in promoting agriculture and animal husbandry-based farm livelihoods
- Demonstrate knowledge in areas related to regenerative agriculture, climate resilient agriculture, sustainable agriculture practices, soil test, crop assessment, dairy farming, farmers collectives, etc.
- Some experience in dealing with various private and government stakeholders working towards the promotion of farm livelihoods
- Ability to demonstrate ownership, and work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment as part of a closely-knit team (showcasing patience, tenacity, and grace under pressure)
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (English and Telugu)
- Graduate degree from any recognized university in Agriculture or Allied Fields (Horticulture/Forestry)
- Resident of Vijayawada
