Designation: Counsellor

Location: Jalandhar, Punjab

Reports to: Manager - Admissions / Director of Counseling

**Principle Accountabilities**:

- Active participation in educational events, college fairs, information sessions/activities as a representative of the company.
- Effective regular communication with students, parents, colleagues and external agencies for coordinating admission activities and resolving problems.

**Work Dimensions**:

- Support the students throughout the admission process by answering their questions and helping them to complete the required documents.
- Maintain student details for the assigned course.

**Work Context**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good listener.
- Direct and relevant experience selling into or working with university recruitment, admissions, and enrollment teams are highly desirable.
- Ability to operate in a fast moving, high growth, entrepreneurial environment where we are still learning and evolving,has good communication skills and timely reporting as required
- Ability to ensure full legal and ethical compliance and conduct of business at all times and under all circumstances
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Pay strong attention to detail
- Must be a team player and a humble individual

**Role requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in the student admission process for foreign Universities.
- M.B.A / Business Management / Marketing / Human Resource/ Psychology
- Experience in Marketing / Administration is a plus.
- Little Understanding of International admissions process for popular destinations like USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia etc.
- Fair understanding of career specializations and courses.
- Little Knowledge of entrance exams such as GMAT, GRE, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL etc.
- Have used CRMs such as Hubspot, ZOHO, Salesforce etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good listener.
- Attention to detail, high confidence, fast learner
- Must have a keen desire to learn and grow and take upon greater responsibilities
- Self-driven and motivated
