- Has prior insurance knowledge
- knows the definitions and concepts behind basic insurance terms like deductible, premium, insurance broker, and claims.
- Is familiar with Casualty and Property insurances like Commercial General Liability, Workers Compensation, and Property Insurance.
- Plus, if they have experience interacting with senior management to present insurance policy renewal options, and request budget approvals.
- Must have a good work ethic and excellent communication skills in both speaking and writing.
- Review Insurance clauses in contracts & provide feedback.
- Govern the Certificates of Insurance process.
- Resolve queries from internal cross-functional teams and external broker/insurance company.
- Oversee the insurance renewal process twice a year.
