The Computer Lab Assistant is responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of the computer laboratories, ensuring that all systems, software, and peripherals are functional and available for student and faculty use. The role involves providing technical support, assisting in lab sessions, maintaining hardware and software inventory, and ensuring proper lab discipline and safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Lab Maintenance & Operations**
- Ensure all computer systems, printers, and networking devices are functional.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the lab.

**2. User Support**
- Assist students and faculty during lab sessions and practical classes.
- Help users with login issues, software use, and saving or retrieving files.
- Guide students in the proper use of lab resources and adherence to lab policies.

**3. System Administration**
- Maintain user accounts, permissions, and access control.
- Ensure proper data backup and storage procedures are followed.

**4. Inventory & Documentation**
- Maintain an up-to-date record of all hardware and software assets.
- Keep logs of system maintenance, breakdowns, and service calls.
- Report equipment faults and coordinate repairs or replacements.

**5. Coordination & Support**
- Assist faculty during practical examinations and project demonstrations.
- Coordinate with IT support or system administrator for network or server-related issues.
- Support setup for workshops, seminars, and training sessions in the lab.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 11 months

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
