Assists in conducting tests and experiments that analyze DNA, RNA, and proteins for genetic research and clinical diagnostics. Their tasks include:
Conducting molecular biology techniques like PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction), RT-PCR, and DNA sequencing.

Extracting DNA/RNA from biological samples.

Performing gel electrophoresis and preparing samples for sequencing.

Running tests to identify genetic disorders, mutations, or infectious diseases.

Analyzing test results and maintaining records.

Preparing reagents and maintaining equipment for molecular tests.

Keeping up-to-date with new techniques and technologies in molecular biology.

Ensuring proper lab safety and disposal of biohazardous materials.

Tests to be conducted on time and turnaround time to be maintained for all tests.

Perform complex molecular-based procedures with a high degree of quality and in accordance with established protocols.

Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) is a Public Charitable Trust registered under the Society’s Registration Act and Bombay Public Trust Act.
