
Inbound Call Centre Operator

We are currently seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Inbound Call Centre Operators. As an Inbound Call Centre Operator, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from customers, addressing their inquiries, providing assistance, and ensuring exceptional customer service experience.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, adhering to established greeting and script guidelines.
- Listen attentively to customer inquiries and concerns, and provide accurate and timely information or solutions.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, order placement, billing questions, account management, and other related issues.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and effectively, aiming for first-call resolution whenever possible.
- Utilize the company's database or CRM system to access customer accounts, update information, and document interactions.
- Follow company policies and procedures for call handling, escalation, and customer service standards.
- Upsell or cross-sell products or services as appropriate, based on customer needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve complex issues or escalate unresolved matters.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all customer interactions, even in challenging situations.
- Meet or exceed performance targets for call quality, average handling time, customer satisfaction, and other key metrics.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and professional telephone manner.
- Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and navigate computer systems while conversing with customers.
- Empathy and patience in dealing with customers from diverse backgrounds and situations.
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures and adapt to changes in workflow or technology.
