**Roles and Responsibility
**Job Description**:

- Experience in supporting IT operations using an onsite offshore delivery model.
- Good experience on SQL versions SQL 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2014, & 2017.
- Good experience on SQL Server database & server migration activities.
- Good experience on Database upgrade activities.
- Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication.
- Excellent knowledge and experience on SQL Server, Database collation settings
- Experience on troubleshooting collation issues.
- Experience on Always high availability( Configuring & troubleshooting).
- Knowledge of SQL Server tools ( Profiler, DTA, SSMS, PerfMon, DMA(data migration assistant ) DMVs, system s-procs)
- Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Work independently based on the mentorship provided by managers.
- Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
- Solid skills in decision-making, prioritization and negotiation.
