**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Hardware Procurement**:

- Researching, evaluating, and selecting hardware vendors and products.
- Negotiating pricing, contracts, and service level agreements with suppliers.
- Managing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of hardware equipment.
- **Hardware Installation and Configuration**:

- Installing, configuring, and testing new hardware components such as servers, workstations, routers, switches, and peripherals.
- Ensuring proper integration of hardware with existing IT systems and networks.
- Collaborating with other IT teams to deploy hardware solutions that meet business requirements.
- **Hardware Maintenance and Support**:

- Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of hardware systems.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware-related issues, both remotely and on-site.
- Implementing solutions to address hardware failures and minimize downtime.
- **Asset Management**:

- Maintaining accurate records of hardware assets, including inventory, specifications, and warranties.
- Tracking hardware usage, lifecycle, and depreciation.
- Developing and implementing asset management policies and procedures.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- **Hardware Availability**: Percentage of time hardware systems are available and operational.
- **Incident Resolution Time**: Average time taken to resolve hardware-related incidents.
- **Vendor Performance**: Satisfaction rating and adherence to SLAs of hardware vendors.
- **Inventory Accuracy**: Accuracy of hardware inventory records compared to physical counts.
- **Cost Savings**: Percentage reduction in hardware procurement costs through negotiations and optimization.
- **System Performance**: Improvement in system performance metrics attributed to hardware upgrades or optimizations.

**Key Performance Results (KPRs)**:

- **Successful Hardware Deployments**: Complete X number of successful hardware deployments per quarter.
- **Reduced Downtime**: Achieve X% reduction in downtime due to hardware failures within the first six months.
- **Improved Incident Resolution**: Decrease average incident resolution time by X% over the course of the year.
- **Enhanced Vendor Relationships**: Maintain a satisfaction rating of X with hardware vendors through regular communication and collaboration.
- **Optimized Inventory Management**: Achieve X% improvement in inventory accuracy through regular audits and updates.
- **Cost Savings Initiative**: Identify and implement cost-saving measures resulting in X% reduction in hardware procurement expenses within the fiscal year.

**Salary**: ₹8,976.14 - ₹10,000.00 per month
