**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sourcing and Procurement**: Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers for various steel products (e.g., sheets, coils, bars, pipes) and other raw materials, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
- **Supplier Negotiation and Relationship Management**: Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers while maintaining long-term relationships to ensure a steady supply of materials.
- **Order Management**: Create and process purchase orders, track the status of shipments, and ensure timely delivery of products in line with client requirements.
- **Market Intelligence**: Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and new product developments in the steel industry.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that all procured materials meet the company's quality specifications and compliance standards.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of all purchase transactions, vendor contracts, and inventory levels. Generate procurement reports for management review.
- **Logistics Coordination**: Coordinate with logistics teams for efficient transportation and delivery of steel products to clients or warehouses.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with sales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth coordination across the supply chain and achieve operational efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in steel trading, manufacturing, or distribution.
- Strong knowledge of the steel industry, including different steel grades and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
