We are looking for a talented, dedicated professional to be a Student Recruitment Officer for Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. The role will be based in the UAE and will be fully dedicated to representing Trinity College Dublin.
The role will primarily focus on recruitment activities for the MENA Team in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey.
You will be part of a wider Trinity recruitment team and work closely with and report to the MENA Regional Manager. You will work closely with Faculties across Trinity College Dublin to deliver the Recruitment plan to a high standard resulting in prospect generation and applicant conversions. The post will support Trinity’s student recruitment activities and play a key role in developing the MENA market.
**Key duties**
- Develop strategies to achieve recruitment targets for the region. Track and monitor progress on an ongoing basis and review operational plans, taking international trends and other relevant factors into account.
- Represent Trinity in recruitment activities at high schools and at education fairs throughout the year; ensure post-recruitment activities follow-up with colleagues, contacts, and prospective students/parents.
- Advise and update the Regional Manager on key issues in international education in the region.
- Ensure that new leads and contacts are included and updated promptly in the Trinity CRM, in line with Trinity privacy policies and GDPR.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key external partner organisations such as Government bodies and other sponsors.
- Advise and support on specific programme strategies to enhance recruitment diversity in the region, e.g., Trinity’s International Foundation Programme and E3 programmes.
- Support the recruitment strategies to meet the targets for the E3 programmes in the region in collaboration with the Head of E3 Business Development.
- Work closely with the marketing team on bespoke in-region marketing activities.
- Support the institutional partnership development in collaboration with the International Partnership Associate Director.
- Provide management information, market intelligence, and other reports as appropriate for colleagues within the University and liaise with Faculties and Schools with a view to how best to promote their courses.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and ensure all unsuccessful applicants for one programme are successfully alerted to other more suitable study opportunities within Trinity.
- Support the development and deliver conversion and ‘keep-warm strategies to encourage timely decisions, increase conversion rates, and ensure diversity targets are met.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment and selection processes based on market and competitor intelligence. Suggest amendments to support recruitment strategies.
- Support alumni relations. Develop positive relationships with current students and alumni to encourage support with student recruitment activities.
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree with good academic performance.

- Self-starter and proactive with high levels of drive and self-motivation.
- Interested in pursuing a career in international education promotion.
- Excellent knowledge of international education and an awareness of the opportunities and challenges associated with marketing education in Ireland and abroad.
