**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive Computer Science curriculum that aligns with CBSE/ICSE/State Board standards and school objectives.
- Teach fundamental computer science concepts, including programming, algorithms, data structures, databases, web development, and cybersecurity.
- Instruct students in the use of various programming languages, software tools, and technologies, ensuring they gain hands-on experience through projects and practical exercises.
- Promote digital literacy by teaching students how to responsibly use technology, navigate the internet safely, and understand the ethical implications of digital content.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations.
- Foster a collaborative and engaging classroom environment that encourages students to explore, ask questions, and solve problems creatively.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in computer science education and integrate new technologies and teaching methodologies into the curriculum.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs, tech competitions, and hackathons, to enhance students' learning experience.
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with varying levels of ability and interest in computer science.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching practices.
- Maintain and manage computer lab resources, ensuring all equipment and software are up-to-date and functioning properly.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in Computer Science at the middle school level.
- Proficiency in various programming languages such as Python, Java, HTML/CSS, and others.
- Strong understanding of computer science principles and the ability to make them accessible to students.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students to explore the field of technology.
- Familiarity with educational software, learning management systems, and online resources.
- Commitment to professional growth and staying current with technological advancements.
