**_Job Summary: _**We are looking for a passionate Housekeeping Supervisor to join our fast growing, multi-cuisine restaurant in Goa, to oversee all duties performed by the housekeeping staff. The housekeeping supervisor’s responsibilities include assigning tasks to the housekeeping staff, identifying and reporting cases of tardiness, and monitoring cleaning supplies. To be successful as a housekeeping supervisor, you should be able to develop and implement strategies to improve the functioning of the housekeeping department. As an exceptional housekeeping supervisor should have excellent management skills and be able to ensure that housekeeping operations run efficiently.

**_Duties and responsibilities:_**
- Assigning housekeeping tasks (Cleaning work) to staff (Housekeeping as well as Dishwashers) and inspecting work to ensure that the standards of cleanliness are met.
- Scheduling staff shifts and organizing replacements as required.
- Providing training to the housekeeping / dishwashing staff. If required practical training about cleaning ways and means need to be demonstrated.
- Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
- Arranging and issuing all the necessary tools / equipment required for the cleaning process to the Housekeeping / dishwashing Staff.
- Issuing cleaning supplies to housekeeping / dishwashing staff as needed.
- Screening housekeeping / dishwashing staff’s performance and recommending promotions, increments, transfers, and dismissals.
- Performing various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages.
- Investigating and addressing complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
- Train housekeepers / dishwashers on cleaning and maintenance tasks and oversee staff daily.
- Check the Restaurant area, Washrooms, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness and in particular spider webs.
- Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards.
- Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur at restaurant.
- Respond to customer complaints and special requests.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach and gloves etc.
- ENSURE THAT THE WASHROOMS (GUESTS AS WELL AS STAFF) ARE ALWAYS KEPT CLEAN, PARTICULARLY THE WC, WASH BASINS, MIRRORS, FLOOR AND WALLS.
- Coordinate and monitor the dishwasher’s performance in utility department.
- Ensure that the utility team maintains clean kitchen and dish washing area as per the Hygiene standards of the Restaurant.
- Ensure that the overall restaurant area and utility section is kept free of clutter and organized.
- On daily basis check if the utility team properly washes, stacks, and stores glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
- Ensure that the trash cans are maintained throughout shift and emptied at the end of each shift.
- Should be having the knowledge / or willing to learn about the appliances used in Restaurant cleaning and machinery used in the utility department.
- Check on the operation of machinery used in Restaurant cleaning and utility and promptly report any technical/performance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Reporting Authority.
- Supporting and jointly working with the utility department assisting and training with other tasks, as situation requires.

**Housekeeping Supervisor Requirements**:

l Effective communication skills.

l Participate in large cleaning projects as required

l Proven housekeeping or hospitality experience.

l Working knowledge of housekeeping.

l Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas

l Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role

l Excellent organizational and team management skills

l Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

**Job Timings**:
Should be available to work from 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM Monday through Sunday with one weekly off. Weekly off cannot be taken on Saturdays, Sundays, or any public holiday.

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
