**Responsibilities**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in **Social Studies**, covering topics such as **history, geography, civics, and global perspectives**, as per the curriculum (**CBSE/IBPYP/IGCSE, as applicable**).
- Develop **lesson plans, assignments, and assessments** that encourage critical thinking and inquiry-based learning.
- Use **innovative teaching strategies**, including storytelling, case studies, group discussions, role plays, and project-based learning.
- Integrate **technology, audio-visual tools, and real-world examples** to enhance student understanding.
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes **active participation, curiosity, and respect for diverse perspectives**.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing **individualized feedback and support** as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to enhance curriculum planning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in **school events, field trips, workshops, and professional development programs**.

**Requirements**:
**Qualification**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **History, Geography, Political Science, Education, or a related field**. **B.Ed. is preferred.**

**Experience**: Minimum **2-3 years** of teaching experience in primary grades, preferably in an **international or CBSE/IB curriculum**.
- Strong understanding of **child psychology and interactive teaching methodologies**.
- Excellent **communication and classroom management skills**.
- Ability to **adapt lessons to cater to different learning styles and needs**.
