**Job Description: Production Supervisor**

**Position Overview**:*

The Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient production operations within our garment manufacturing business. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising production line activities, managing production staff, and ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:*

1. Supervise and coordinate production activities on the shop floor to ensure timely completion of orders and adherence to production schedules.

2. Train, mentor, and monitor production line staff to ensure optimal performance, quality output, and adherence to safety protocols.

3. Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or quality issues and take proactive measures to address them.

4. Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, work orders, and inventory logs.

5. Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.

6. Collaborate with the Production Manager and other departments to effectively communicate production requirements and resolve any production-related issues.

7. Assist in the implementation of production improvement initiatives, such as process optimization, workflow enhancements, and cost-saving measures.

8. Monitor and manage inventory levels, material availability, and equipment maintenance to support production activities.

9. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for production staff.

10. Participate in performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and training programs for production staff as needed.

**Requirements**:*

1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications or training in production management will be a plus.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in production supervision within the garment manufacturing industry.

3. Solid understanding of garment production processes, equipment, and quality control procedures.

4. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate production staff.

5. Knowledge of inventory management, production planning, and scheduling software.

6. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize workload accordingly.

8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

9. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

10. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet production deadlines.
