Merchandiser Ethnic Wear Job Description Merchandiser Ethnic Wear is a professional responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of ethnic wear product lines. They work closely with design teams, manufacturers, and sales teams to ensure that products meet market demands, are profitable, and align with the brand's vision. Key Responsibilities:

- Product Planning:

- Develop product strategies and plans based on market trends, consumer insights, and brand positioning.
- Determine product mix, assortment, and pricing to optimize sales and profitability.
- Create product calendars and timelines to ensure efficient development and launch.
- Product Development:

- Work with design teams to create innovative and appealing ethnic wear collections.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Manage sample development, fit checks, and quality control processes.
- Range Planning:

- Develop range plans that define the assortment, quantities, and timing of product launches.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Buying and Sourcing:

- Source materials, trims, and components from reliable suppliers.
- Place purchase orders and manage inventory levels.
- Sales Support:

- Provide sales teams with product knowledge, selling tools, and merchandising guidelines.
- Analyze sales performance and make recommendations for adjustments.
- Market Analysis:

- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
- Analyze sales data to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of ethnic wear trends, fabrics, and construction techniques.
- Excellent product knowledge and ability to identify market gaps.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and merchandising tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textiles, or a related field.
- Experience in the ethnic wear industry is preferred. In essence, a Merchandiser Ethnic Wear is a key player in ensuring the success of a brand's ethnic wear offerings by bridging the gap between design, production, and sales.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
