**1. Develop and Implement Safety Policies**:

- Formulate, review, and update safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Communicate and ensure the understanding of safety policies throughout the organization.

**2. Conduct Safety Audits and Inspections**:

- Regularly inspect the workplace to identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions.
- Conduct safety audits to assess compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

**3. Risk Assessment and Hazard Analysis**:

- Identify, assess, and analyze workplace hazards and potential risks.
- Develop strategies to control and mitigate identified risks.

**4. Employee Training and Education**:

- Organize and conduct safety training programs for employees.
- Ensure that all employees are aware of safety procedures and practices.

**5. Incident Investigation**:

- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive measures based on investigation findings.

**6. Emergency Response Planning**:

- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular drills and exercises to ensure preparedness.

**7. Compliance Management**:

- Stay informed about changes in safety laws and regulations.
- Ensure the organization's compliance with safety standards and regulations.

**8. Safety Communication**:

- Promote a safety culture by effectively communicating safety expectations.
- Encourage reporting of safety concerns or incidents.

**9. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Management**:

- Ensure the availability and proper use of PPE.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of PPE.

**10. Collaborate with Management**:

- Work closely with management to integrate safety into daily operations.
- Provide recommendations to improve safety performance.

**11. Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, incidents, and training.
- Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.

**12. Continuous Improvement**:

- Continuously assess and improve safety programs.
- Seek feedback from employees to identify areas for enhancement.

**13. Safety Committee Participation**:

- Participate in safety committee meetings.
- Facilitate communication between management and employees regarding safety matters.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, OHST) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Safety Officers play a critical role in creating and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring the well-being of employees and compliance with safety regulations. Their efforts contribute to the prevention of accidents and the promotion of a positive safety culture within the organization.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
