Infrastructure and DevOps Architect

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Ensures the correct deployment and operational reliability of SW solutions deployed at any of the Major public clouds
- Works closely with the SW development teams to ensure operational stability
- Works closely with SW development teams to define deployment processes on live SW
- Defines and implement metrics that help ensure scalability and availability of the system
- Works closely with IT teams to ensure best practices for security and manageability are in place
- Be curious and innovative. Create inventions for Intel and our customers via intellectual property generation, and tangible customer valued innovations.
- Be willing to grow professionally and assist in the growth of your team members.

Work Hours and Benefits
Our team works on an individual basis to set the correct working hours and environment that works best for each individual and team, worldwide. The majority of the team is working on/near the Pacific Time zone and on a hybrid onsite/remote combination.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
- 7+ years professional experience. 3-5 years of Cloud experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provision, monitor and manage infrastructure on Linux and Windows
- Proficiency in Python, Scripting, and object-oriented design skills
- Application architecture and design patterns
- Experience in working with SW development teams in highly dynamic environments
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes, Containerization, Orchestration, etc. highly preferred,

**Work Model for this Role**

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
