Your Mission: As a Production Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the shift operations of MSP function and ensuring output is acheived as per plan and also promote innovation, efficiency and team work.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
You will handle the production & operations of MSP in Gokak, India. Collaborate across multiple functions and ensure functioning. Collaborate with functions locally whenever necessary.

Key Accountabilities

To run the shift operation Safely by observing and rectifying the unsafe act and unsafe condition.

Ensure plant/Equipment hygiene, House keeping and Food safety regulations.

Adhere to daily management routines.

Co-ordinate and guide the Operators for better plant operation

To run the plant as per production schedule.

Monitoring the process parameters of plant.

Troubleshooting process issues to ensure continuous and uninterrupted production.

Focus on Efficiencies, Plant availability and reliability.

Adhere to online Quality parameters.

Co-ordinate with inter-departments to achieve the production plan and required quality.

Co-ordinate with inter-departments like Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical and Cogen to resolve/troubleshoot engineering related issues.

Key focus on team work for executing improvement projects.

Monitoring the equipment operational parameters/Condition based monitoring.

Tracking and updating the logbooks and Production related reports.

Participate in Brainstorming, providing ideas, resolve issues for smooth plant operation.

Responsible for Warehouse management.

To ensure packaging of finished goods is in line with quality requirement.

Main Internal Relations: Regularly with Maintenance, SCM, Production and QA. Also occasionally with all other functions.

Main External Relations: Auditors/vendors/customers if required

Specificities:
Act as an Incharge for the assigned shift and take ownership for men, materials and management.

Key Competencies Requirements

Functional & technical competencies: MIS, Manpower management, pharma grade production handling

Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering (preferred). Chemical engineer

Experience: 4 to 8 years in similar role.

Specific requirements: Incumbent must have worked in a process / manufacturing set-up preferably.

Business Trips (Percentage): Very rare / nil
