Introduction:

- To work and resolve technical problems in Linux/AIXs and work on service Operations tasks(Incident, Change, Problem, Patching) in 24X7 rotation
- Liaise with other support teams to address the internal support team’s issues as well as share and adopt best practices being followed.

What will you be doing?
- Act as technical first point of contact internally and externally for break fix, incident, event, change and problem management.
- Promote the use of Technical Standards, Procedures and Best Practice and maximize the use of toolsets and automation.

What we’re looking for:

- Engineering graduate with 3+ years of experience in supporting enterprise Unix environment
- RedHat Linux certified
- Knowledge of AIX/Solaris
- Understanding of Veritas volume manager, Veritas cluster and VVR

Skills that will help you in the role
- Excellent communication and articulation skill
- Ability to communicate and drive interaction with senior stakeholders
- Knowledge of automation, Chef, Powerbroker technologies
- Knowledge of AWS/Cloud technology
